Live Free has launched a fun and engaging program called The Living Large Crew. It’s a great way to meet new people, discover new interests, and have a lot of fun while building important life skills.
What Is the Living Large Crew?
Living large is all about getting out into the community, trying new things, and building confidence along the way.
Each week, participants head out on a different adventure, exploring local venues, practising independence, and connecting with others in a supportive and upbeat environment.
Program Purpose and Outcomes
The Living Large program is designed to support goals such as:
- Increasing social engagement,
- Improving daily living skills
- Building community connections, and
- Maintaining health and wellbeing
Participants also get the chance to practice planning, travel skills, and positive communication, all while enjoying healthy recreation and exciting outings.
